Fairport appoints Manager for its Farmtek Australia
division.

proudly announce the appointment of Joanne Richardson to the position
of Territory Manager for Victoria and South Australia.
Joanne will be responsible for the management of all sales and training activities
for the areas traditionally covered by Farmtek Australia.
Joanne has a deep and broad knowledge of computing, software and training
and included in her long list of qualifications is a Workplace Training
Certificate IV. She and her husband John operate a livestock and cropping
farm near Euroa in Victoria. While this gives Joanne (a PAM User for
three years) an excellent understanding of farming systems, she has
forged an impressive career in the information technologies industry
(over 10 years with IBM, 2 years with Olivetti) and in marketing products
in the farming industry. Joanne was an Account Marketing Manager for
North Eastern and North Central Victoria and southern New South Wales
with Smorgon Cyclone Rural for almost eight years. Her job involved
coordination of the marketing efforts via re-sellers. Lately Joanne
has been responsible for marketing new technologies into the dairy
industry throughout Northern Victoria and Southern New South Wales.
